Default DOD never kicks in....

so DOD is turned "on" in my tune now, but at one point it was turned off... it use to kick in/out all the time, that's why I originally turned it off. I turned it on a few weeks ago when I was taking a long drive, figured it'd help with MPG... it didn't kick on once... now, when I had it turned on before, the truck was basically stock... now it's got it's and ory and all that stuff with the applicable codes turned off... would any of those codes relate to the DOD system and it's engaging? Any other reason you guys could think of that it wouldn't come on? Maybe just reload the tune?

I haven't ever messed with DOD, but DFCO is based mainly on MAP and most of the time with a cam change your coasting vacuum and cruising vaccum is way different so that needs to be tweaked so DFCO will work. I know you didn't say you did a cam, but maybe start with checking entry and exit criteria anyway.

stall maybe?. Gotta be a parameter that needs to be tweaked. I dont know what pcm needs to see in order to decide to activate dod mode. The gm description is motor under light load to activate dod. Mods can effect the criteria the pcm usues to determine what exactly light load is

Interesting, because I know he's running an ORY so he probably has turned it off.

I guess most guys running ORYs are probably turning DOD off too anyway.

with an ORY, what if any issues will there be with leaving the COT enabled?
