Did my dead battery mess up my tune?
Rpm jump up to 1000 when I put it in gear! I had this problem before with my first tune & then I had Charlie retune it and it wuz good!
I had battery trouble & now the rpm is back! The truck will do 40mph without touching the gas!
So does my tune need to be redone? R can I just do something to fix the problem?

a battery shouldnt mess up a tune unless it would ground out and fry the computer. in some cases the pcm learns the truck. Usually in this case the tune didnt have enough time put into it.
If you have a bad ground the truck can do funky things

More than once, after having the battery unplugged for a while or dead, I have had to do the idle relearn procedure. Basically, set park brake, chock the wheels, and then put it in drive for 5-10 mins. Don't actually move it. Then do the same thing with reverse. It's always seemed to work for me.

It just erased your fuel trims and any idle learning that was done. It doesnt actually erase any of the tune itself. If your fuel trims were really off then it will just take some driving for it to get back to normal.
