Ok I found this on craigslist used and I saw something on the internet that one used on a vehicle it is "married" to that vehicle so does that mean if I bought it I would have to send it back to diablo and have then 're do it so I can use it or is it like a hypertech and that once he puts his factory tune back on his truck then I can use it on mine any help will be appreciated thanx

 

I had a u7198 for a few months before I bought HP tuners. I flashed the stock tune back into my truck and sold it un-married. It works no problem for the new owner. Unless the firmware changed, if the previous owner returns his vehicle to the stock tune, it should reset the device. Verify that the seller has reflashed the stock tune back into his truck and reset it before buying. I believe diablosport has a forum; maybe try asking there for an answer from the manufacturer.
