Default diablosport intune tuning questions!!

Hey guys,

So today I finally used my intune on my 03 Silverado and the diablo tune(91) wasn't that great to be honest and I don't like the way it shifted so I went to a custom stock tune and it still shifts funny, the only thing I think it might be is that the torque management was off and I selected for that on, but I'm pretty sure the stock tune had that on? Or does the stock tune have it off?

ALSO when changing the idle the intune let's you select between -300 to 500, is that number added to the stock 500rpm? So if I selected 150 on the tuner the truck should idle at 650rpm?

Help would be appreciated!

I had the same problem as you with shifting, I emailed Mike and he fixed it for me by combining the 93 tune with the stock tranny settings.

And the RPM setting is based off the stock idle.

You should just get a tune from Lew, im getting one this weekend, pretty cool guy, he'll hook you up!

Thats the thing, its the stock tune with only the idle changed, tire size set and I clicked on for torque management and it still shifts a little weird. But I don't think torque management is on in the stock tune

pretty weird? maybe a transmission problem? god forbid, that would suck.

When it would downshift it went down 200rpm then suddenly jerk up 500 ish, I restored to bone stock and it didn't do it again so I can safely say it was turning on torque management

Oh and the idle settings do more bad then good, its like the computer knows the real rpm setting and fights the tune it just jumps back and forth makes the idle horrificly unstable and it'll go super low coming to a stop like 150 rpm
