Ok we check for continuity all the way back to the pcm and it was good.

So just for good measure we tried checking the injector and could not hear or feel a click. We moved to number 35 and it same thing.

Could this be the injectors are going bad? And would that explain no spark to number 5?

Well we tested the injector right next to it and it did the same thing, but I have not had any problems out of that cylinder.

Do you mean you put a known good injector into the bad cylinder and it did the same thing in the bad cylinder??? If so and if you already checked the wires for continuity then that would leave the ECU.

If the injector from the bad cylinder was swaped with another cylinder and the other cylinder now had a dead miss then that means the injector is no good.

I don't believe 1.5 volts would be enough to drive an injector. I have always used 12 volts directly from the car battery. Never try and hold an injector open. You will burn it up. Just a momentary blip is all it takes.

My real question with that is would the pcm pull spark from a cylinder if the injector is bad?

No. It might throw a code for a bad injector circuit if the injector is bad.

If you have no sprak on 1 coil then swap it with one that is working and see if just the coil is bad. if the bad coil is bad it wont work when swaped. If it does work on another cylinder, then you have a problem on circit #5

We don't have spark, I am almost 100% sure we have fuel. Just no spark.
