Default DBW TPS WOT Relearn?

Is there a way to reset WOT on a drive by wire tps? I have a truck that won't go to 100% throttle. Looking at the logs, some times it goes to 88% other time to 95%, depending on how hard you press on the pedal. It's a 03 Silverado. It's causing me problems with WOT kick down and shift points not being consistent. Any one know? And yes I check to make sure the floor mat was not under the pedal,

Did you confirm that the blade is opening 100% with the key in the run position and someone looking at the TB with the intake tube off? If you answer yes, then I think that's a known issue with some of the OS's and scanning. I read it on HPT's forum once

I haven't, but I know some of the DBW stuff, 88% i think is considered WOT, but the TB is open 100%. I don't think this is the case here, cus I have seen as much as 95% tps in logs, but it's not using the commanded WOT shift rpm of 5900, it's shorts shifting using the part throttle tables. If there isn't a reset/relearn, I guess I just have to use a little burt force to bend the throttle pedal a little to give it full travel,

Yea, on some 88% is considered WOT (i.e. Colbolt SS) however if you saw 95% one time then there is something going on. ...Curious. Other than that, I can't offer any suggestions.

There's a WOT threshold table in HPT. You tell it that a certain TPS=WOT, does EFI live not offer this?

That parameter doesn't affect blade opening, just what the definition of WOT should be for the PCM and any functions affected by WOT.

Kyle,
Not a fix, but you can work around the WOT kickdown by setting the upper and lower limit so that it will still consider it to be in the WOT shift pattern.

Have you logged APP vs TP to see if the discrepancy is in the tune or the pedal itself?

Dumb question time.
Does the truck in question have adjustable height pedals?
(If it does, adjust them away from the floor a little.)

I've heard of at least a dozen people complaining about not getting full throttle because of those pedals. (Also a few with thick floor mats too.)

I found what you are talking about Justin and will give it a shot this week end. I'm going to take a closer look at the truck this weekend, both times I've worked on the truck it been dark out and haven't been able to do a good physical inspection on it.
