When the factory computer is unplugged, will it log that? If I got a mail order and unplugged the factory, trans goes out, plug factory back in, will the dealership be able to tell if I unplugged it the factory computer or will everything look exactly the same...?

 

I don't think they could tell the difference between that and a dead battery. If they could even tell at all.

 

Yeah, I thought about that but with those damn things being able to tell how fast you were going when a wreck happens or if you hit your brakes, you can never know! Just did't know if it was unplugged at one point then plugged back in if the dealer could tell that or not...
