Custom tune on stock 5.3-Will it help much?
'03 silverado 5.3 auto 3.73 Would like to continue to be able to run reg. gas. Would it help much to get this thing reprogrammed? I'm sure they could improve the shifting but what about power? Thanks.

Yes it will help a ton, contact one of the custom tuners and ask them what all they can do for you. Just don't waste the money on a hand held programmer such as a Hypertech, go with a mail order tune.
