Hello,
I am new to this forum. I am trying to find a place that does custom tunes (preferably using HPtunes.. but not required) in Western North Carolina, or within 100 miles of Asheville, NC (Eastern Tenn., Northern GA, Northern-middle SC). A place with a dyno would be even better, but beggars cant be choosers.
I would appreciate any help you guys (and gals) could offer.

BTW, I really don't want to go the mail order custom tune route.

 

I could use a good tuner and I live in the same area.

 

I don't know of any out that way but I know of 2 in Raleigh, both with Dyno's and both very good. The first is RPM (Ryan's Performance Machines) and the second....I'm actually not sure what their name is or where they are at now in Raleigh, but the two guys running that shop use to be the head mechanic and inside shop guy (the one that handled the phone and ordering...etc...) at RPM. They recently branched off and opened their own shop but have everything you need. I can find out there info with a few phone calls on Monday if you'd really like it. But RPM specializes in Trucks and American Muscle. Mainly GM vehicles. The owner has an 11 second 2003 Silverdao 1500 that he drives daily and a 9 second Z28. Most everything they work on are silverados and sierras and camaro's and trans am's. http://www.ryansperformance.com/ Thats the website for them.

 

Thats a little ways...little farther than 100 miles but its the only ones I know of. There has got to be some closer to you though.

Holy Cow... one in Hendersonville and I have never heard of them before?! Freakin SWEET! That is onle 30 minutes from me (If I don't lay down on the gas...)
