Convertor slip ???

How much slip do you guys see when the converter is in lock up?

At the worst, I get up to 300 rpm slip locked up in 4th at 45mph. Annoying as f@*(.

EDIT- Oh yeah, Yank 3000 w/ 4.10 gears.

in third with it locked should be very close to 1:1 input/output speeds if not something is wrong

Ive always heard if you think something might be wrong with the converter to put it in third and lock it if its not very close to 1:1 then something is off. Otherwise I dont worry about how much it slips. Never really looked at how much it slips in OD
