Default Cold Start Up

I have a 2003 regular cab short bed 5.3 with 62xxx miles on it and for the past few weeks when its cold outside in the morning and you start it up it acts like it doesnt wanna start up and then idles all funny...revs way up and then goes down way low like its gonna die...this morning when i started it, it idled for about 30 seconds and then did die...if itll stay running for about 5 minutes it finally smooths out and runs just fine... Anyone have any idea whats going on?
Thanks

If it's cold out then it could be intake gasket. Get it indoors and spray some Carb cleaner around the intake with the vehicle running and see if it sucks it in and sputters.

I am betting bad o2 sensor. Drive up to autozone and have them pull the code and report back
