Do you know if they dialed in the VE table. Because the EQ table reference the VE table for a base number.

Off subject, but why did you decide to run the maf vs. a 2 bar sd tune?

Im not sure if the ve is dialed in or not. I can tell its not stock tho.

My tuner said that maf would have better driveability at the time.

Yea it's definitely not stock but I think you should put it in open loop sd and see where your idle afr is at when at operating temp.

Yes drivability with the MAF in most cases is better, steady state fueling is much improved with the MAF. Just because you are running forced induction does not mean that you "have" to automatically go with a 2 bar SD tune. I know their are a lot of guys in general and have tuned a lot of guys running a MAF with a blower or turbo and are making a lot of power.

If running the VE/MAF hybrid that the factory uses the VE table also needs to be tuned
especially with the mods you have done.

But as always first thing's first, make sure ALL of the injector data is correct in the tune before you even start tuning the VE and MAF otherwise those tables will end up being all jacked up pretty bad if they are tuned based on bad injector data.

We've all seen what Stock48 is doing with a MAF tune...

Yea on a daily driven truck, it would make more sense to me to use the MAF. Most of the forced induction guys on here and ls1 don't so just wondering what pushed him in that direction.

Klugg's: Did you look at his tune?
