i have a 2003 silverado 5.3 with 243 heads and a lunati cam .549 lift 115 lsa, pacesetter lt, cold air intake and 34# injectors. i bought this truck this way.

When im sitting at idle with the ac running the truck will shut off and will not start back up. REP will come on and throw code p1514.

I have replaced the throttle body, MAF, MAP and made sure there were no vacuum leaks and i am double checking the vacuum leaks tomorrow with a smoke tester.

any ideas? lol im clueless possibly a tune issue? i have a reciept for the head and cam and it has pcm flash on it.

please help!

 

bought a new ecm problem seemed to be fixed now i gota take it to lg to a tuner that knos what he doing

 

usually the problem is a broke wire at tb.you cant till its broke unless you start pulling on them.it will break inside the insulation.some cases programming gm's latest updates in the pcm will fix it.my 04 sierra was doing same thing yours is doing and programming gm's updates in it solve the problem

 

I took it to lg to get it tuned and there was something wrong wit my ecm so they told me to go to chevy to get it reflashed to stock. chevy said that the ecm is the wrong one for the truck or w.e. so i just bought a new one and took it back to lg. truck runs great now but now my trans went out last night
