code p1133

That code is a nightmare. Do a search for P1133 and you will find a few guys with headers and tunes (like me) getting this code (like me also).
here are two threads that may help for this issue:

Let us know how you work through it.

thanx for the links,
since 08 blackchevy's truck don't have headers, there may be something to the tsb blownchevy posted about fuel and sulfur.
i think i'll turn off the code with hpt until i can get to the dealer for a re-flash.
i'll post up after that.

Put my stock tune in to see if codes may be tune related.
light back on after 2 days so it's either the headers or fuel.
will get oe calibration update asap
There is alot of info on ls1tech on these codes, usually relates to headers and 02's not getting hot enough to switch properly,
some fixes, vette 02's which have higher preheat values, moving bungs for senors or
more shallow bungs that put sensors deeper in exhaust stream.
I can tell you that when the light is on the truck sucks fuel big time and doesn't seem to run as well.
What I haven't been able to understand is whether turning off error reporting for the codes with effect performance or prevent pcm from going into closed loop.
Anyone know the answer to that question, that would be the easiest option.
closed loop is the preferred operating condition??? or open loop?

talked to my tuner finally,
there is absolutely no downside to turning the report off for those codes,
02's fully functional just don't report an error. therefore doesn't go into full time open loop when light is on
start up -open loop
operating temp - closed loop
how do you spell relief........
i'm a worrywart and i don't have a full understanding...hence concern
