Default clockspring

I replaced my clockspring yesterday and noticed that the blinkers and back lighting for the steering wheel are not working. my clockspring had a lime green two pin connector that was routed to the top of the steering colum (anybody know what this is?). the clockspring i ordered didnt have this connector so i followed wires and put the old one on the new clockspring. could this be my issue. there was a connector that was extra also, but from what i understand this is the quadrasteer connector. anybody know what i did wrong? thanks
