I want to start tuning my VMax. Mainly, upping the TPS value that kicks it out of V4 mode on the highway. I emailed the emperors at HPT and got the new beta. Hooked it up tonight to go for a drive, hit SCAN, nothing. No data on the graphs, no needles on the gauges, nothing. The funny thing is, it didn't even ask me to license my VIN! (Is this because I'm using the beta?)
I also had no gauges functioning in my cluster, and it wouldn't shift out of first (I forgot to turn off the three DTCs in the trans table, I realized later.)
Why the crap can't I scan? I'm asking here cause the HPT board is waaaay over my head, and nobody seems to answer me there anyways. Can anyone point me in the right direction? TIA.

What are you looking to do with the fuel trims? They should be included in the default config file... You'll need to use a custom config to pull up fuel trims in a histogram, IIRC. I use a config file with a STFT histogram for part throttle tuning.

^VE tuning is how I got started with the last truck. I had LT and ST fuel trim histograms with version 2.2 I think it was. I downloaded version 2.23 so I can tune the DOD, but I guess the fuel trims aren't a default histogram in the new version. Thanks for the reply, I appreciate it.
