Default Cant Read My Tune

Tryin to read my tune out of my truck to send to a guy to start his tune. Ive recently lost everything on my computer, so i had to reinstall efilive, downloaded the newest version and install the usb driver, i had to recharge my battery on my truck and i go out to read the tune and this is what it says...efilive cannot communicate with flashscan. disconnect scantool if connected, check all cables and connections and try again ..i have checked everything, of coarse its all plugged in and the scantool is not on..i do have the heads pulled on this and i have alot of things not plugged in..could this be a problem

If there are unhooked grounds, then yes, that could be the problem.

As long as the OBDII has power and is working it should not matter if you have some sensors disconnected it would just throw a CEL. Check to see if your wires to the Tune tool and computer are plugged in correctly. Do you still have the instructions that came with the software?

Im that guy looking for his 370 tune. If the ground that is providing power to the OBD plug or PCM is not grounded it will not power up. Correct?

just got home and went and put my cell phone batter charger in and it lit up so the fuse is ok and the bdII port should be good..althou when i went out the the battery barely had enough juice for the interior light to come on..the charger was on there for about 2.5 hours..my girl got the wrong charger and got a 6amp charger..maybe it didnt have enough juice..tomorrow im gonna get everything plugged back in and try it again
