Don't get me wrong, I love the part. I was comparing it against the cubbycam version which had angle adjustments and what not, but it was $60.

I figured I liked the look of this one from TTS better, and it was cheeper, so I was stoked. Not quite as stoked for $52 and some change.

At the end of the day, its a great part, but if he needs to make more money off the part, charge more, don't hide behind surprise shipping charges.
I still would have bought one or the other, and probably still bought the one from TTS because I think it fits the interior better in aesthetics, but honestly, why be shiesty about shipping? Charge $50 plus the actual $6 shipping charge, capture a couple extra bucks of revenue, and your customers wont feel ripped. Win Win.
