Default Can Someone Help??

ok guys i know i seen some of these threads already but couldnt figure out how to do it.

i have a c3 autometer a/f ratio gauge and i need help installing it i have everything hooked up right so far. just need a good place to put the red wire. i know its suppose to be 12v but which one should i tap into?

right now it is on a wire on the stereo harness which i have it to where it turns on when the truck is on. but it is just one bar on the green. (rich)
doesnt go anywhere.

should it be a bad 02? is it a good place to put the red wire where i have it now?

this is on a 2001 rcsb silverado 5.3

thanks for the help in advance

Take the O2 out of the exhaust pipe, and turn on the gauge. Watch what happens, then light a lighter under the O2, and see if it changes. It sounds like the O2 is not wired properly.

I checked my o2s and they are really bad i think i need to replace them. do they suppose to be all burnt looking like that?
and it is wired up to the purple wire coming from the harness dont know if thats the wire to tap into but from the research i have done thats what i read to do.

thanks for the help.

Have you tried starting it yet?
Have you let it get up to full temp?

Chances of the O2 being bad are slim, you would get an SES light first.
