can i use 03 pcm and harness for a stand alone?

i have an 03 6.0 80e with harness, fuseblock ,and pcm out of 2500 express i want to put in my swhen that was already set up as a drag truck so it does not have stock gauges, abs, a/c . can i use 03 pcm and harness to make a stand alone ? i also have a 01 harness out of a 6.0 truck but harness to trans is cut ... what can i do with what i have , any help would be great thanks

Yea that wont be a problem at all.
Remove the wires and sensors you dont need.
All the pink wires are fused Ignition wires.
Orange wires need 12+ constant
Black wires are Ground.
Its that simple.

^^U can get rid of all that jus delete it in the tune..
I love this thread good info so far..
My question on this is on lets say a 01 silverado and i wanted to relocate the pcm and make a custom harness, can i jus unplug the engine harness and make a custom fuse /ground/constant 12+ box for it and run it as a standalone, will the bcm still be functional by itself??
i know ill have to extend the wires to the fuse box for the guages to work and what not, but i suppose the question is can the bcm work alone if the engine harness isnt pluged into the fuse box??
