cam + remote start + cold weather...
#1
We've had some very cold days here lately, and I can't keep the truck running in the mornings when using the remote start. It'll fire right up, run for 10 seconds then die. This cycle continues a three or four times, until the remote start finally gives up and doesn't try to start it again. Besides adjusting the idle to 2000, do I have any options?

i had this problem last year with my remote start on real cold days...like 20* days. For a crutch, I upped my RAF table in that temp range. ALso, you are open loop at this time as well, you can mess with your commanded afr in OL as well. It's hard to advise to lean out or richen it up as I have seen people with both scenarios. Just play with open loop a little first in that temp range. Maybe richen it up a little.(cold dense air may need a tad more fuel)
This isn't my good area...idle..., but those 2 tables work well for immediate results for me.

Desired airflow table may need to be adjusted in the low ECT region. You'll want to go out some real cold morning, connect the laptop and log it as it warms up. Shoot me a PM along with one of those logs I requested and I'll tell you what you need to log.
