Default Anyone log Fuel Pressure with Autometer 2246 sending unit?

Just wondering who here logs fuel pressure using the Autometer 2246 sending unit? Does it seem to work pretty good? Where did you get the 5v reference, from the MAP sensor?

The reason i am wanting to log it, because currently my VE table has values well above 100% in the upper MAP ranges, i have verified via a mech fuel pressure gauge that i am infact getting a 4-5psi pressure drop at WOT. So i am wanting to log the actual fuel pressure to adjust my Injector Flow Rate values to compensate for the shitty returnless fuel pressure...

I use that sender. I log fuel pressure through the EGR circuit with a custom PID using EFILive. Very easy to do and seems to work perfect. I would recommend it.

What is the problem with VE > 100%? My tune is that way stock.

Theoretically, having a VE number above 100% NA is not possible.... Even thou our VE table is not true VE, it has a couple of other things thrown in the calculation like ECT and IAT... But in our case if your VE % is above 100% it usually means that something is wrong with your fuel system, such as IFR table wrong, Fuel Pressure dropping, low fuel pressure, etc... Also if your VE is above 100%, way out of proportion or not tuned correctly, you will be referencing the wrong spot on your spark table while in SpeedDensity...

Is that a PID? If it is I bet itis measuring it at the tank on a returnless fuel system, hence the problem..

EDIT: nevermind... I clicked on the link, basically he was doing the same thing.

Well you have me interested and confused...LOL, nothing new. Justin mention some of my VEs were over 100% but that is all he said. My fuel pressure seems to be good on my gauge, as I see 70 psi at 12 psi boost. My IFR is set to the level the injectors I got from FIC were flow matched too. My VE is set by Auto VE but maybe I could log that again to see how close it is. I will be looking more into this area but not sure the best way to proceed at this point. I look forward to your write up you will be doing. I pulled some WOT fuel and now my IDC is down to 70% from 85% at WOT so I may have some room to move my IFR if it isn't correct. The stock tune peaks at 104.0196 % at 4400 rpm and 105 kPa. My current tune peaks at 113.2764 at 4400 rpm and 105 kPa but is artificially inflated to carry into boost (ala Westers). So yes my current B0101 is inflated over stock overall but I am running a small cam. I seldom see that area of the table unless I am running really hard in first or second gear. Otherwise I am pretty much into boost by 2500 rpm. Seems I have a lot of fine tuning needs doing. Thanks

A while back me and dewayne my old boss ran into an issue on a dbw vehicle the % was too high and actually created problems with the spark table I believe, been so long I cant remember what the deal was.
