Im looking for a startup tune for a 370 with 4l65e trans. I have looked for one but i cant find anything. I would be greatfull if someone could post a tun file for this. Im just starting out tuning and im unsure on how to do this. Thanks guys.

 

Start with a base silverado ss 6.0 tune, change the injector constant, then do the VE and MAF tuning for the cam. The 6 extra cubes (stock is 364, overbored to 370 ain't much) aren't going to change the airflow much at all, it's the cam and other mods that you'll really be needing to tune for.

 

What stock tune do i need to use and what one is compatible with a 2000 pcm. I have a cable throttle body. Any help would be great. Thanks

What kinda 42lb injectors, You use EFI live? Send me the tune you have now in the truck, and Ill see what I can do for you.

 

Im using efilive. Can you still help? I dont know how to go about tuning it. Do i take a 02 OS from a 5.3 and flop over the 6.0 tables to the 5.3 tune? Every tune i have found for the 6.0 has a 4l80e. The ones i have found for the 6.0 with the 4l65e are a 04 or 05 OS. If i remember right the computer is only good for a 99-02 OS.

 

They are the 42lb marine injectors and im running a return style fuel system.

So you cant read anything off your truck. Im so close to being able to start this thing and i need a tune to start with. That would be perfect if you could.
