I'm surprised you like those. I had them in my last truck and it ran like *** with them in. Swapped for some stock style and made a world of difference. Most of the guys I work with steer away from them as well. That's just my .02 on them though.

AC Delco FTW!!! I have seen the Cheap plugs cause problems.

Remember when they designed the spark portion of the system all the data they developed was based off using these brand plugs. Not all spark plugs are created equal. They use different core materials and that can effect the way the spark is distributed. In some cases the resistance can cause excessive feed back and burn the coils out.

I found NGK TR55-IX for $54 .060 gap what do yall think

Im also seeing plug wire size range from 7mm-10.4mm

The MSD are 8.5mm is larger wire better for more current flow or can going to large have a negative effect?

I guess what im mainly trying to ask is what is the perfect wire brand and size to get the most out of a product without causing damage to the coil or performance

i've found that chevy's are almost always happy with ac delco plugs, ngk's are also good. i've put a lot of autolites in customer's rigs because they're the most readily available at the local parts house and they work but i have had several fail inexplicably. not enough for me to condemn them but they're certainly not my first choice.
