Default alternator size/depth

Do they make an alternator that is smaller than stock, depth wise?
I installed my LSXrt and it's touching my alternator. I hope I didn't damage my alternator. I was just wondering if they made a smaller one.
I'm running a stock alternator but I think with my Vortech bracket moved it closer to the intake manifold.
Does anybody have any ideas?
Thanks,
Mike

You might be able to get away with putting a washer or two behind the accessory support to move the alternator away from the intake. Would really depend on if the amount of change would be enough to make the belt jump under load.
