you are safe there in the mid 11's.. how much boost do you run daily driving it? and when you engage your boost controller?

mine is 11.2 at 3000+ rpms in boost
15.5 cruising
14.7 ideling and light loads.

my wideband has started acting up so when my new one gets here this week I'm goin to go Re AutoVE and double check everything.

I can see how being a lil richer with that much boost can help keep everything cool and maybe keep detonation out of there. But IIRC if you go to rich you start getting KR..

move the sensor, you dont want to feed the turbo. Seems it would be pretty inaccurate with that kinda boost. I dont know what the ratio is but most are like 3 to 1 IIRC.

At WOT I'm seeing between 9.6:1 and 10.2:1. I think right now I'm in the high 10's/low 11's...but not sure.
Ya you need to get that straightened out, at your boost level you need to KNOW what your AFR is not think you know.. The least bit of detonation and I would be expecting the heads to lift.

I am surprised your smart *** don't have a handle on this. I agree with everyone. I have many of theories I have formed since I joined pt.net, but one I stick to is after 9#'s of boost you have entered into another territory of abuse. Your motor can not be expected to handle a "hot flash" like your old lady. And she doesn't handle them all that well anyway. Get that sensor in a prime spot, get it dialed in and find your peak HP in the realm of 11.3 to 11.6 (without meth) IMHO. Anything higher and you are racing and not daily driving. Will 12.0 work with 12#'s of boost? Sure. Knock yourself out. Add meth and break out the calculator or just keep it below 11.3 if your are under 16 to 17 #'s of boost. (another magic level of boost)

IS it AFR? Is it Boost? Is it spark? which and what combo gets the best power? Looking to have that same setup next year and the year after? Keep it under 11.7AFR for FI IMO.

LOL, woah there ladies!! I already knew that 11.5 is what we shoot for but read that "chemically 0.95 lambda is the ideal AFR for maximum combustion". I was just more curious as to why we FI people like to run at a richer/safer ~ 11.5. And Bill and a few others I believe touched on it with the added cooling effect which sounds about right, not sure if there is more to it though.
When I had my wideband installed I specifically told the shop that I wanted it between 12 and 3 o'clock on the DP about 5" after the turbo. I practically Demanded that, that was there they install it. When I picked up my truck I figured they followed my instruction to the letter but 2 weeks later I stuck my head under the truck and couldn't find it where I thought it'd be. Called them up and that's when I found out where they installed it. Sure enough they stuck it on the driver's side crossover before the Y. Again, I'm not happy about it but I have different plans for my system anyways so I'm not gonna move it since most of it will be scrapped in the near future. Again, I am aware of all this, especially at my boost levels and what I'm doing with my truck but I'm too far into fixing other people's messes (because there's a few others) to dig into the set-up now, so I'm just holding off till next year when I will have time to change up...everything.

you need to read the next chapter. I assume you are reading Greg Bannish's book? Future plans? You going to put an efficient TVS on there? Come on, I know you want it!
