active fuel management

i have heard there are tunes to shut it off, but i was wondering if i can tune my active fuel management to run on only 4cylinders more often?? i have an 08 z71 w/33's and the only time it will shut down to 4 is when i let off the gas which doesnt do much good. i was wondering if there was a way to set it up to where you ran on only 4cylinders until you reached like over 1/8 or 1/4 throttle for better mpg??

Yes! The factory settings have the DOD kicking in and out constantly, very annoying. In fact even after I mention to my tuning customers that I can keep it in 4 cyl mode longer 90% of them still want the DOD just turned off.
