Default ABS and E brake lights on.

So I have been having an issue where my ABS and Brake lights are on constantly. I know it does not affect drivability much but it bothers me that the lights are on and I would rather not cover them up. I have done the following within the past 20k miles. BTW it is a 00 Silverado 1500 4wd

1. Replaced both front hubs
2. Cleaned and checked EBCM ground
3. Confirmed Voltage for pump
4. Replaced EBCM
5. Made sure I had the correct tire size in PCM

I am still throwing DTC C0279. Now the only thing I can think of is since updating the PCM to the 02+ software I have been having this problem. Has anyone else had similar issues?

I think I might have found the problem I think my ABS module and pump are fried. i replaced the EBCM but not the pump. I'm going to connect 12v directly to the pump and see if it turns on. Sucks though because its behind the torsion bar.

That didn't trigger the code it only reset it because the PCM lost connection to the battery and cleared the code.

Does it happen when you hit high speeds? Have you put on taller tires or different gears?

I do have taller tires but I checked with my tuner and he confirmed they are correct. It comes on as soon as I drive away. I pulled the fuse and they cleared them I put the fuse back in no light while the truck is sitting still then as soon as I move they come on.

In another thread it was determined that the BCM wasn't quite configured right from the factor. When you change the tires/gears and reflash the PCM for correction, the bcm starts freaking out and thinks your front and rear aren't going the same speed.

Will edit with link to see if it helps you any.

Thats for an NNBS but I gues it would be the same. From what i read though I would need to bring it to the dealer to have it done. The dealers around here suck and want to reflash my PCM to stock.
