Default 5 speed swap, tune question.

what all would need to be done for my truck to run correctly? Do I just have to delete the auto trans codes and be good or is it much more involved then that. My truck is a 2000 5.3 ext cab 2wd originally a 4l60e but swapped to a nv3500.

1. I have no idea why anyone would ever swap in a NV3500...

2. Segment swap the trans segment from a factory 5 speed truck.

Are you indicating that the OP might need to change both the engine and transmission segments at the same time? Like that if you change only the tranny segment the engine segment won't like it?

I went online and found a VIN for a manual version of my truck then to the dealer and had them reflash the ECM to that VIN. A cool guy there will do it for free
