Default 5.3 Turbo Silverado Start up

04 Silverado turbo 5.3. Really new to tuning. Using HP Tuners. My setup is running e85 with boost referenced fuel pressure regulator. FIC 1000 injectors. 3 Bar MAP sensor (LS1 Style). I have read that a simple way it to scale the injector flow by 50% and double the Stoich. Flow-(57.2 lb/h) across the whole table and Stoich-(29.25714). Switched my OS to 3 Bar Speed Density. Set MAF to 0 and unchecked all the boxes for the MAF delete. I scaled the MAP sensor, Linear-305kpa and Offset-10.33kpa. With key on engine off MAP kpa reads 103kpa. I hit "Write Entire" when putting the tune in the truck. When I go to start the truck it fires up and then shuts off, sometimes if I let the truck sit for a little bit it runs for maybe 5secs then shuts off. Fuel pressure gauge reads about 52psi. If I'm missing anything any info on tuning would be great just want to get this thing running.

Thanks, Grant

Why would you scale anything?

The OS should allow you to input the correct injector data and adjust the stoich ratio as needed.

Doubling the stoich and halfing the IFR and IVT terms is a thing you only really need to do on a E38 computer that has injector flow limits of 63.5 lb/hr.

Did you set the the 3 MAF dtc's to fail on first error, just unchecking the boxes won't help.

They are unchecked and set to "No Error Reported"

They need to be set to first error for speed density.

It doesn't matter, if you don't want the SES light on on the dash, leave them unchecked.

So all i need to do now is input all the injector data that Fuel Injector Connection gave me and set my Stoich to 9.8?

At least to get it running.

I'm not sure if HPT has a lower limit of 10 for the stoich ratio. My experience running E85 is that the stoich ratio usually ends up being 10.2-10.3 since it's more like E70-E75. If you notice your trims really rich (and they were good before), you may want to adjust and reflash until they were close to what they were before.

All the injector data is in and Stoich is set to 9.8. Truck fires right up!! Truck will idle for a good minute and then will shut right down. Reduced Engine Power flashes on the dash and you go to turn the key back on and you don't hear the fuel pump. Scanned for Codes and got P0068-MAP/MAF Throttle Position Correlation (Pending)
P0102-Mass or Volume Air Flow A Circuit Low (Pending, Current)
P0103-Mass or Volume Air Flow A Circuit High (Pending, Current)
P0106-Maniflod Absolute Pressure/BARO Sensor Range/Performance (Pending, Current)
P2761 (Pending)

I unchecked P0101, P0102, P0103 and set to Mil on First Error. Set MAF Frequency Fail to 0Hz. Am I missing something? Something is getting set off and shutting down the truck.

Can you post your tune and a log file?
