Default 4.8pcm the same as 6.0 pcm

Ok guys i am sorry for all the ??? here lately but I am getting ready to do the swap. Is the 4.8 pcm the same as the 6.0 or is tables and things different in them.. I am aware that a custom tune will solve the problem but till I can get one I need to go this way. Thanks, if there is any other things i should no tell me.. Thanks for the help JOHN

Pcm is different as well as most of the numbers in the tables as well. I did this swap over a year ago and have made out fine. You will need custom tuning to update the engine size. Depending if you are using different injectors or keeping the 4.8's (which I did and are the same as the 6.0's in the later years) you will have to change the injector control and flowrate for them.. From there you can tune the 4.8pcm and now it will be like the 6.0 one...
