Default 4.8,5.3 & 6.0 computers

I have a 1989 chevy scsb and i pulled the motor and im thinking of putting in a 5.3 or a 6.0 in it and i was thinking that i might get some advise on getting a question answered. The question is that i dont want to put the stock computer in it and run all the excess wires and was thinking that their might be a alternet computer that i might be able to put in the truck. Can you tell me who to talk to and where i can order it. Please?

I don't really understand what you are getting at. usually when guys do motor swaps, they use the pcm that the V8 came with and get it tuned.

it that i dont want to work with all the old wiring cuz i wont have the transmission for the motor and i dont want to have to sort out all the wires and i just want to get another pcm for the engine. Also the engine im getting is not gonna have the wiring but all the sensor for the engine. I saw a place on tv that will have all the wiring plus a pcm for the engine for it. I think it was from fast but i dont know if they are the ones.

sounds like you are talking about an aftermarket tuning setup like F.A.S.T or BigStuff3 or something along those lines

your asking for as standalone so the motor can run by itself....not hard to do with the regular wiring
