I have a 2014 GMC supercharged truck. I need A bit of advice on tuning this truck. I am thinking of adding a methkit to my truck and wish to add power to the truck by way of timing adjustments . I do not wish to adjust any of the boost as I am already running 6 pounds,so my question is, when adjusting timing do I have to go into any of the torque mgmt tables and make adjustments there.

 

6 lbs is a start. Don't be afraid of more boost, especially as you add a better fuel like Meth into the equation.

 

I will add boost later, but for now I will just do timing adjustments to gain more power. Any thoughts from anyone on if I will have to go into the torque mgmt tables as I add more power? Thanks

 

I have not looked at the 14+ tunes specifically, but there are a lot of ways to improve power output and generally its not a good idea to look at just one.

What type of tune do you have on it now? What software are you using?

 

I'm using hp tuners.
