2008 Chevy silverado traction control help

Default 2008 Chevy silverado traction control help

Hey there not sure if I'm in the right spot since I'm new to the forum but

I was just messing around my truck the other day opened the radio and ac panel an found that there's a plug for traction control I went and got one junk yard and installed it today went for a test drive it won't turn it off my truck still spins and traction control light Wont turn on the traction control button led is turnd on any helps please

Just because it has the harness does mean adding the switch will allow you to disable it. I am pretty sure they all have the harness for it.

If the ABS module and PCM are not programmed from the factory (or dealer, but unlikely) then you won't have traction control on the truck. The button is just that, a button. And it's only to turn traction control OFF, not on, so right now you haven't actually changed anything.

So there's no way I could fix this im a dumb dumb I don't really know much about cars
