Default 2007 tahoe tune

So I was wondering if anyone on here have had one tuned to get better mpg because these these things drink like a camel. And what mods should be done before to to get best results?

mileage?

change oil, plugs, fuel filter, air filter, 02 sensors

a cai and free flowing exhaust will help

everything needs to be in good working condition before you tune it

just a thought

i would look local first, try to get an in person tune. search google or ask on LS1tech

Tahoes are not light, do you have the 4 or 6 speed transmission?

I had Black Bear Performance do an in person tune on my '07 Tahoe. I get. 18.5mpg consistently but I do a lot of highway. That's with 22" wheels. Only other mod is an Air raid jr. intake Black Bear has them for under $130 shipped I believe.

93 octane. I have the 89 tune though cause I'm an idiot. When I do some upgrades I'll get it retuned for 93
