Default 2007 GMC Sierra 1500 SLT Z71 Weird Electrical Problems....

Hey guys,

I was driving my truck to work the other morning and had something weird happen. While driving at about 60 mph the 'stabilitrack disabled" alert popped up on the dash a few times along with a chime. I manually turned off traction control and turned it back on again and it stopped. A few minutes later the gauges started going crazy. My tach and speedo were bouncing all over the place and the door locks kept locking and unlocking. It seemed as if the truck was surging a little also. I pulled over to the side of the road and popped the hood to look for anything obvious and saw nothing. I closed the hood, crossed my fingers, shut the truck off, and attempted to restart. The truck started without a problem and hasn't repeated any of the symptoms.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance,
Brian

Iirc some have experienced an issue with corrosion on the main fuse mounted on the firewall near the battery with similar symptoms. Gmt900 right?
