Diablo has just released their new Predator programmer for the 2006 gas trucks -

The Predator for 2006 GM V8 Truck & SUV (part no. U7192) is a state-of-the art high performance tuning flash programmer, which advances the timing, optimizes the air/fuel ratio and remaps the transmission shift points (in automatic transmissions). Unlike other 'tuners', DiabloSport’s programming is performed in very small increments throughout the entire RPM range, for a smoother, wider and a more predictable power delivery.

The Predator features end user adjustable parameters so the end user can customize his/her tune depending on other modifications done to the vehicle. Because we allow for timing and fuel adjustments the end user can optimize the tune for his/hers specific vehicle utilizing a dyno with proper air fuel monitoring and utilizing the Predator's live data feature to monitor timing and other vital parameters.

The Predator allows the end user to adjust the following parameters:

Looks as though they are a lot more versatile than ones I've seen in the past. How does that work with the Torque Management removal or reduction though. I believe in the past, didn't you have to recieve custom tunes for this via internet from predator? Or are all these settings listed above in the ad, available to change parameters directly from the handheld?

I would like to tune my new Z71 slightly, not like the crew cab I had, which was highly modded. this just might fit the bill, my main concern is getting rid of some of the torque management, and maybe playing around with the shift points a bit.

Also, how long is this price good for, or is this the all the time price?
