Things like this really made me wish we had a tune repository on this forum. HoldenCrazy took down their nonstock tunes due to liability I suppose with increased EPA pressure on aftermarket tuning.

At the same time though, tuning FI is such setup specific that using another tune for a basis may be dangerous.

I havent even delved into tuning my setup yet for the most part and the 0-105 kPa main VE table is going to be pretty close to the same as N/A. For the boost VE table (105-285) efi live has you copy the 105 kpa values into the 285 column and then increase the value by 300% and the linearly scale the rest of the table. The end result is probably overly rich fueling for safety. Im using E85 fuel myself, and this should help avoid detonation in addition to proper fueling.

Looks fine to me! When you are tuning resist the urge to go full throttle first thing, you want to slowly work your way up in throttle and rpm if everything is pretty close.

^^Baby steps. Don't rush anything, if you are unsure don't change it and just over all take your time.

Start your data logging and tuning when out of boost and work into low boost to get an idea where things stand and then make an educated guess for higher boost. I always go a little over what I think fueling will need to be at then reel it back down. Rather have it go rich and have to take some fuel out than go lean and go kaboom.

Thanks for the input guys!! I got the tune downloaded and the wideband wired in...first thing its showing 10.29afr on the laptop and 10.9 on the gauge so I work the short pulse adder all the way down to zero with no change? I then went to the ve table and reduced the idle regions by 20% , my gauge now shows 14.1 at idle and laptop is showing 8.9 afr...any advice here?? Ok I got that one figured out thanks to The tuning school's free downloads it makes seting up the wideband a cakewalk

Reset the short pulse adder back to match your injectors, thats not what that is for.

First thing is you want your gauge to match your laptop, so fix that before you make any more changes. All changes in fueling should be done through the ve table.

Thanks Richard. I had read on hpt forums to get the siemens 80's to idle at stoich the short pulse adder must be worked down? It didnt help so I will take your advice and return the table to stock. Now to figure out the gauge issue. Thanks again. Gauge issue fixed!!! http://www.thetuningschool.com/support/free-downloads/

Ok Got everything in working order and went out and made a few boosted pulls. First few were around 5 psi and 10* timing afr was around 9.90,went ahead and stepped up to 7 psi and got a little knock retard afr was at 9 lol. I couldnt resist so I wanted to hear the wastegate open 10lb spring afr stayed super fat and timing was still around 10* gonna be a freakin beast when I get the ve table ironed out What concerns me is I noticed a few lean spikes and a little knock retard like 1.9* I hope it is false. I will post the log.boosted log.hpl

Cant look at the log right now but the lean spike is probabaly a rich misfire.
