And the answer to your earlier question is No, you cannot swap in the injectors from the later year in the 99 without changing the PCM programming.

Physically you can interchange them, but the electrical properties and flow of each are different.

1999's had 19lb/hr injectors
2005's most likely have 24lb injectors, so it may run, but may have issues or run lean/rich.

1999 was the poopy year with smaller injectors. 2000 up have 24lb injectors in the 4.8/5.3/6.0L trucks.

Default problem fixed

Changing fuel pressure regulator took care of my problem !
