1990 C1500 LS Swap 5.3 2004 DBW
Hello,
I have recently swap my 1990 C1500 2WD engine with a 2004 silverado 1500 5.3 DBW + 4L60E stage 1 performance, stock torque converter.
the engine has no big mods, except shorty headers + true dual 2.5 exhaust sytem with magnaflow mufflers
my rear end is a 4.10 ratio with 325/50R15 tires, 28" tires with posi
the tune that I have is awful
the shifting point is horrible, in low speed I feel the shifting between 1 to 2, 2 to 3, 3to 4
but when driving on hard pedal, the shifting from 1 to 2 , 2 to 3 and 3 to 4 is for eternity, it seems it nevers shift, only when I remove my foot from the pedal
please can someone help me on this, does anybody will share his tune with the same configuration as mine
I have attached my current tune which is horrible

Currently the gear tire wizard says you are running 27in tall tires, so change that to 28in tall and have it auto correct the settings because that will make a difference.
Some of the shifting is really going to come down to you putting in the time to alter the shift mph settings to your liking. You can view the part throttle shift scheduling and make adjustments as you see fit. You can make the gears be held longer so it's not shifting as often and you can make 4th gear not happen until 50mph or something if you really want it to.
Past that the tune is kinda meh, not really a ton done to it. Some PE changes and timing settings but honestly not a lot done but it is a stock engine.
