03 silverado swb sht/bed starts then dies (vats?)

Default 03 silverado swb sht/bed starts then dies (vats?)

went to start it yesterday and it will fire up then immediately die.. the security light has always been on but now it is flashing. any way to by-pass this?? anyone wanna make some cash? I live in north texas (denton-ish)

my baby i stuck in a public parking lot away from home at the moment!! I really need help

You need to replace the ignition lock cylinder case and solder the terminals at the C200 connector at the base of the steering column for the Passlock sensor. The easiest way to relearn after repairs would be with a Tech II. If I lived by you I'd hook you up. Hopefully some GM tech thats local will see this to help you out. Dealer will charge you 300+. If you go this route tell them to solder those wires. there is a TSB on it.
