Default went to the track last night

It totally sucked........

first pass i got straight in line after a 30 mile drive and 10 minute wait to get in the gate....
Ran a 8.93@73 Slower than before the cam. I couldnt stall it up over 1000rpm or it would push thru the brakes. No clue whats up with my brakes now. It seems if i have no peddle pressure.

second pass i tried spraying the 75 shot. I have it set on a window switch to activate at 3000rpm.....as soon as it sprayed it fell on its face and ran a 10.25 WTF? It sprays fine launching on the street but as soon as i get to the track it just sucks.

third pass i go on motor again and run a 9.04@73. I was about to give up and go home but i decided to let it cool down and make one last nitrous pass....it went so bad i wont talk about it.

I belive most of my problem was the EXTREME heat and humidity, like 90%.

I have logs of 3 runs and a log on the street were IATs were low and it sprayed from a dig no problem.

the street launch log, the first wot is on motor and second is on Nitrous.

so im totally bummed about my times being slower than before the cam and drag radials.
On the street it pulls great.

I know what you mean, on my first nitrous kit, I would run it on the street and work fine, at the track it wouldnt run worth poo.

Are sure the nitrous was engage? Did it feel like it pulled better? What is your 60'ft?

8.9 pass 60ft was a 2.28 horrible because for some reason i couldnt stall it up over 1000rpm or it would push thru the lights. I also couldnt dust the radials off so i belive it spun some on the line.

nitrous pass 60ft was 2.48 and as soon as it hit 3000 it bogged and i let out the throttle and switched the nitrous off and got back in it but it still bogged

Sounds like the bottle was empty or at least pretty low. Even if the bottle is pretty low, you usually pick up a little mph. Is it possible the jets are backwards(nitrous jet in fuel line, fuel jet in nitrous line?) Ive done that, bogged horrible, but still ran same times as N/A basically, weird.

yep tested before the track and it worked flawless

left the track and let IATs come down to around 88-90 and worked flawless.

Your brakes suck because your cam is making less idle vaccum... Next time step on the brakes and rev it a few times in nuetral... The vaccum from the rev will pull the brakes in tighter.

Actually your motor makes less vacuum with higher RPM. The strongest vacuum pressure should be at idle, but the raised idle due to the cam + the rough idle kinda messes it up, but I have a larger cam and mine isn't really all that noticeable in the pedal.
