Default Edge products

HEY GUYS, i just installed the edge products (evolution ) for my '08 chevy hd.

the truck has the 6.0, and so far so good.

its been about 2 to 3 weeks with this and i've noticed about 2.5 to 3 miles per gallon increase on economy mode.

the performance, packs a nice punch to leave stock trucks behind.

overall im pleased with the product, and would like to know if anyone else has used this on the new body style trucks?

i know theres haters of plug in programmers, but come on i dont even have 18,000 on the truck yet.

Where the mileage gains on the DIC or hand calculated with miles traveled/gallons used at fill up?

by hand, using the same octane (93) and the same amount of fuel on each fill up. i filled the tank and then let it click one more time. reset the trip and did this three more times and totaled up the miles for the three tanks of gas and divided it by total gallons used.

compared this to the to stock data before the edge tuner.

i've always liked Edge for the fact that they might not be the best tuner out there for no matter what engine/make/model gas or diesel but they at least make GOOD stuff across the whole spectrum i should say

but custom tunes are better

honestly, always wondered if these things were worth the money. I liked the idea of the programmable display and guages v the expensive wideband AFR and others. Great way to get temps outputs (tranny, oil, water) if the PCM already records them IMO. R/
