Official '00 Turbo Lightning
ReListing its for real now. Im ready to build something else. Everyone says turbo make good power but poor habits. well this truck is perfect in every way. The only reason im selling is im never happy IM always tinkering with something. but im ready for a new platform and would like this truck to live on with a NEW owner.....
What can i say this is a work of art now, if you notice i have added several new parts since the feeler add a while back. No price change even though i made many changes to enhance the performace and all around habits of the truck. truck sits lower now as well. need to update the pics as i have spent many hours on the aesthitics of the build to now its a work of art.
i keep forgetting new stuff ive done. trick flow heads have benn totally done up with titanium retianers and inconel exhaust valves.....i would say these are now the best head with upgrades....
2000 Ford Lightning with 34K original miles total
fully caged for 9.99 runs with harness and corbeaus-4500.00
AMS 1000 boost controller mounted with Co2 1100.00
all rocker switchs mounted 250.00
NO A/C or HEATER
very streetable and I do drive it to car shows and such
QA1's all the way around with JLP 4" shackles and hotchkis leafs 1400.00
Belltech spindles and JDM drag springs 550.00
new brakes factory spec 350.00
JDM long bars 450.00
new BTS with new converter from PI 4500.00
new motor has only 5 heat cycles and no runs
short block consist of manley rods and pistons with larger wrist pins
polydyne coated skirts and tops also stainless rings and gas ported pistons with Trick flow heads that have been cleaned up and is set at 9.3to1 comp ratio 8500.00
Custom PSI Motorsports turbo kit with Precision Turbo billet 82mm ball bearing with 4" aluminum down pipe. custom headers that have been jet hot coated and stainless crossover with Tial Race 50mm Wastegate, and Vortech Mondo bypass.
custom intercooler resv and no h/e 10,000.00
has a dynojet wide band with datalogging 550.00
boost gage 125.00
line lock 350.00
15" bogarts all the way around with new tires on front and 8 passes on slicks 2500.00
ABS delete, airbag delete, radio delete, hvac delete all to make the truck as light as possible. custom rear weight bar
BUILT rearend has trutrack with 3.55 and JDM girdle 550.00
all 01 up lights all the way around including 3rd bl 250.00
antenna delete with upr stud10.00
ful PSI/FORE fuel system including 3 pump hat and 3 walbros, -10 line, fore regulator, aeromotive rails, custom 78lbs inj, custom maf. 1700.00
about $40,000.00 in mods alone not including labor or the HRE wheels, or TRUCK itself. just to give you idea

truck made 1110hp on moderate boost at 25lbs. still more in it. needs absolutley nothing to go racing or driving
