I have cash burning a hole in my pocket. No need for significant other approval, credit check, waiting on the bank, or whatever other excuse everyone comes up with. Just waiting for a truck I'm looking for and everything to fall into place.

I thought ^ both were appropriate. LOL

Tire kickers suck pretty bad.. But if you act like everyone is a tire kicker, you will never get anything sold.

Just part of it.

I am coming from a seller stand point, not buying. When I say I want it, I 99% of the time follow through, don't make excuses to hold you up. Every one acts like they have money, then make some excuse why they do not( you may not be one of those) I can not tell you the amount of people that have sent me PM's, Emails ect begging me to hold something, never follow through or get back to me, I miss out on a real sale cuz I say im holding a item. I call that spineless. Lately it has been if you want it, don't get paid untill xxx then give me that deposit. LOL I am sure you will find a truck. Still some good people out there

A+ I agree 100%.

I stopped several years back and many cars ago "holding" things, unless I am given a 100% non refundable deposit. I've been burned holding things in the past.

Same as you... If I say I want it, I have every single intention of following through.

Usually when I talk to someone... I ask what their bottom dollar no haggle price is... Or... I give them my top dollar offer.
Either way it is accepted or passed. I don't like "haggling" and going back and forth. If I call and say I'll give 5300$ on your 5500$ truck and you say no thinking I'll call back tomorrow with 5500$, you missed it.

The 2 that I've went and looked at with intentions of buying was so far off it was unreal. It drives perfect, nothing wrong, etc etc.. I get there and it sounds/feels like the truck is about to fall apart. LOL

Hell, I'm just ranting now.. Just anxious to find the truck I want.

Look at this *******!

HA... Find me one man! I thought I had a solid buy on the white Sierra I posted. Turns out it has some pretty major hail damage so it is out. I was looking forward to that one.

I have one with a few small things (remote start/rims/drop shackles/leds/HIDs) that I'm going to look at next Tuesday. If it checks out like the guy says I will buy it. I'm driving 2 hours to check it out though, it better be as described OR ELSE... Or else I have wasted all that gas and 5 hours of my damn time unfortunately. LOL

I got to have a truck to pull the next pile of **** I buy... Which is also where half my frustration is coming from. You have any clue how impossible it is to find a white FRC for sale ANYWHERE in the country? LOL

I have to agree with this, especially with craigslist buyers. I have a ton of parts from my swap listed right now, and I can't even begin to tell you how many people REALLY WANT something , then offer me half of my listing price because they are tight on money (not my problem), then expect me to drive 40 miles to meet them somewhere. If I start to get shady questions, I stop responding, as 99% of the time the rest of the conversation will be a complete waste of my time. I'm usually negotiable on price, but if they actually want the part they can find a way to come pick it up.

I've been trying to sell my SS for months. Craigslist is the worst for tire kickers. I've got the "I want your truck" and then the next text is, "I have to sell mine first, though." It gets frustrating. Don't get in touch with anyone unless you can buy what they're selling. It's that simple. Just be upfront and honest.

Prefer a white Sierra 1500 5.3 auto and relatively stock (I could do exhaust/CAI/tune, the simple things), no cam/heads/converter/etc.. This is to be the DD and haul the toy, not to be the toy.

Silverado as well, again I prefer white.

I'm open to Pewter/silver as well.. I want white though.

It *must* be an extended cab, I won't consider a regular cab.

Miles don't really matter as long as they are in good shape mechanically and look decent. I have been looking at trucks with 150+K on them.

Budget is 6K or less.. Most everything I'm looking at is 5-6K asking price.
