i agree. $9500 is a little unrealistic. i think 5k is closer to a fair price....and thats pushing it.

can you post an itemized list of parts and prices that you have into your build?

im pretty sure i could build a salvage title S10 with a 5.3 and T56, and sell it for 5k and make a profit.

I will agree its not cheap geting the motor costs about 800 for lows mile a t56 with lows miles around 1500 ls7 clutch 600 with parts and then buying motor mounts headers geting the exhaust done, paint, wheel spacers, vette wheels lets just say it will nickle and dime you to a cost of 4 grand in parts not including labor unless you do everything yourself and that doesnt include the truck yet

whoever pays 800 for a 5.3 is getting RIPPED. now days, you can get a low mileage from the oil pan to engine cover with wiring harness and pcm for 350 to 500. i laid an offer out there for a salvaged truck with a nice drivetrain swap. i know that costs money, but its part of the game...do you think i would expect to get the money back that i have into my truck if i tried to sell it? hell no! thats why it will be in my garage for now on. good luck with the sell

9k is a great price for this truck. LS swaps are def not cheap. and then one seems to be done very well. if it were at 8k this thing would sell super quick. great looking truck man and i hope to build one very similar to this one day! GLWS!
