For sale is my mother’s 2002 Chevrolet Tahoe LS 5.3 2wd with aftermarket leather seats. It has had one owner and was bought new from Sand Dollar Auto Plex in Galveston (now Classic Auto Group). It has been used to take her to school and back and on a few road trips, and has only 144k miles (about 10k per year). It has been extremely well maintained and I have the stack of maintenance records since new. It has always been garaged and the paint shines and has no oxidation, no rust, no accidents, clean Carfax. Drives straight as an arrow and gets 14-15mpg in the city and over 20mpg on the highway. Interior is clean and smoke free. I would not hesitate to drive this SUV across the country; it is quiet, dead reliable and AC blows cold. When purchased, the dealer installed custom leather seat covers over the factory cloth seats, and the leather used is MUCH thicker than factory and shows little to no wear (see photos). To my knowledge, everything mechanical and electrical works as it should, including power seats, locks, windows, AC controls, gauges, cruise control, etc.

It has a few upgrades like a custom engine tune by Wheatley Performance for 87 octane, 2013 Pioneer headunit with Bluetooth, USB and an Aux input, Edelbrock IAS performance shocks, and a K&N air filter.

I would give the interior a 9/10 (very little seat wear), the exterior a 8/10 (some minor scratches and door dings), and mechanically a 9.5/10 (up to date on maintenance and common failures like hubs, fuel pump, water pump and shocks already replaced).

The bad: Has about an 8” long crack at the top of the windshield, which has been professionally sealed so it should not spread. Some door dings and scratches.

Asking SOLD due to condition, relatively low miles and meticulous maintenance. Pictures do not do the Tahoe justice; it is clean and drives as good as the day it rolled off the lot. Title in hand. My mom got a smaller car as she no longer needs a large SUV.
