454SS for sale

Do you still have this up for sale?
I'm 16 and I have a project truck, it's a 1994 GMC Sierra Short-Bed/Step-Side.
I'm in LOVE with this truck. My body style is rare, most left of this body style are chevy's.
I live in Oklahoma so it wouldn't be that far for me to go to buy this from you if you still have it.
If I were to purchase this would you allow me to send you money orders and make payments or would you want it in full?
I work at braums so I don't get much of a salary and I haven't had a job long enough to get a loan but I want this truck so bad, I've wanted one for so long.
I could trade you my truck and pay on yours as well.
I'd like to discuss this with you so email me if possible. my email address is bdsolkakarotto3@hotmail.com

454navyss
I know this post is old. I feel your pain. I looked for a cheap 454SS and there is no such thing. I did find one at a local car lot. I waited to long for a 1991 with an asking price of $5500 and it had 200,000 miles on it and it was rough. Not to bad but stuff like all the id labels were worn off the interior on the dash, a/c did not work, paint was in fair condition but a bunch of door dings and stuff, bed was well used, also had a class 4 hitch and you could tell it was someones work truck. I drove it like 10 miles to check it out and it was tight, the tilt was a little loose but suspension was in good shap for 200k miles. I was looking for a truck and really wanted a new one. Payments but not having to worry about fixing anything. Well i debated to long and tried to get the seller to come down to $5000 that was on a monday, by thursday the truck was gone for $5500. It was a 91 with 4 speed auto too. I still kick myself for not buying it.
I have seen trucks like yours jsut with good cleaning for $7500 or more. I dont think your $8000 asking price was out of line at all. When old wore out 90 model chevys are getting $2500 for something on its last leg. I hear stories of people buying these old plain 1990-1993 models cheap but when I look for one its to much for what the truck is.
I finally found a 1992 chevy silverado shortbed with a V6 and 5 speed tis back and has red interior. I bought it from the original owner and he would not go below $2000. Now its got a ton of miles on it, right now its 340,000 and the original V6 blew up at 337,000 miles. I drove it for about a year before it blew up. Did I pay to much? Well it was the right color with black exterior and red interior. The body is in ok shape and everything works. I just could not find an 454SS that I could afford. SO now I am building a 454SS clone. I got a Gen V 454, Merlin heads and am saving for the rest.
But no i dont think $8000 was to much for your truck.
