2006 Bolt-on AWD 3SS TBSS
#1
Hey guys, sorry I don't post here, apparently I signed up years back and forgot all about it till going through an old email account and saw a Happy Birthday message from here! Again, sorry I have to come here to post to try and sell something, wasn't my intent, but I might as well throw it up here as well.
I've had my TBSS for over 5 years now, it's time for a change though. Tired of using a TBSS for my bad weather DD. The truck has seen winters, it's my beater, but there is no rust on anything. It does see rain, it's my only vehicle that does. Truck has 104k on it, all kinds of mileage. City, HWY, 3 trips across the country and back. LT/3SS, only missing nav and rear DVD. Truck is in avg condition for years and mileage. Inside better than outside. Outside has misc marks, inside is pretty clean for the mileage. The other bad is it will need tires, unless I decide to put tires on it here shortly, which I have been debating. If I do, I'm going to be moving less on the price. It will most likely need brakes soon too. Stops fine, but mileage says it should be needing brakes. You can decide that. Ok, enough of the bad, time for the good.
The truck is full bolt ons minus a ported/aftermarket intake. SLP long tubes to SLP hi flows, custom dual exhaust, efans, UD pulley, TuneTime Dyno tune and CAI, FLT level V trans and an Edge 3600 converter, trans cooler and block heater for winters, DashHawk mounted in corner of dash. I also have GTO injectors I bought to put in it with the retune. I have all stock parts minus the manifolds and factory Y/cats/exhaust. Truck put down 378/358 on a Mustang Dyno, I have the first pull laminated that shows 375/357. Truck has also ran the 3rd fastest bolt on time for an AWD at 12.58. The others are 12.55 and 12.57, and I spun badly or it would have went 12.4. The truck regularly ran 12.6s when I was still living in NJ on a 3k stall and stock trans. When I was in ND, it was doing 8.2s in the 1/8th at 84 in lesser air than Atco offers. Always 60'd in the 1.75-1.85 range, best of 1.720 on a 3k stall before the trans build. 5k HID lows, 6k HID fogs. I'm a motivated seller, but I'm not going to give it away since NADA is 17,300. The truck cruises nicely, but is absolutely loud at WOT and up to speed. I personally wouldn't recommend it for a couple with a newborn or young child but again, your decision. Has a magnaflow muffler on it. It experienced all the common problems with the truck; blown trans so it got an FLT level 5 put in. Was 3k when i bought it, down to 2300 now. Bad fuel sensor, replaced it myself two years ago, no issues since. Bad ignition cylinder, replaced under warranty 4 years ago, no issues since. Misc lights are out on the interior, wasn't a concern to me to fix. Drivers side door controls died on me, replaced about 8 months ago. Front rack and pump was replaced under warranty at 36k. Battery dead this winter, put a redtop in it. I think that is enough info until you ask for something specific.

Rear completely debadged and rear wiper changed to cleaner 07+ style. Chevy symbols on wheels and SS emblems on doors overlaid with black. Calipers painted black with SS symbols on front, fronts will need redone as it was over 3 years ago. Fronts tinted to match at 20%. Stock chevy emblem up front changed to a chrome bowtie. New ballast for left fog was just put in yesterday. Brand new chrome tips on exhaust put on two weeks ago. Smaller than I wanted, didn't like once on, sorry. Just put gas in today, averaged 13mpg around town, not bad for 1.8 60's and sub 5 second sprints to 60!
