1993 Chevrolet Truck, (467trq, 380hp, 6psi) $4000
Engine and Tranny
2002 6.0 liter engine and 4L80E Transmisson
Master power T70
Tial 40mm wastegate
Front mount intercooler 3” inlet/outlet
AIS Methonal injection system
Motron 60 lb injectors
255lph LP intank pump, and 255lph HP inline pump (new)
2 BAR map sensor
Stock manifolds, 2.5 inch pipe to 3” merge to turbo inlet, wrapped
Tilton differential pump for oil back to the turbo
4” downpipe to two 3” mufflers
Tuned for 6lbs of boost
Truck has a 12 bolt rear end out of a 1978 Chevy truck, it’s a 12 bolt positive traction 3.08 gear rear with cal-trac bars
Truck runs, and drives as is. It needs:
Turbo rebuilt----seals leaking
Valve springs---springs are good, but float out a 5000rpms indicated at DYNO
Chrome moly pushrods—To handle spring pressure
Paint job, cab doesn’t match bed
Hole in floor, cab came off of 4X4 truck, and had hole in the floor for the transfer case shifter (4l80E is not 4X4, it is 2WD)
I was going to put in the 2002 Z06 Cam (I have for $150 more) with springs and pushrods, and push her to 10lbs and shoot for 500+ RWHP/TRQ until turbo seals started leaking. I have 3 projects going on at the same time, and one has to go.
I was driving this truck back and forth to work (30 miles) last week, and gave me no trouble, just started smoking and I looked in the intake track (between the turbo and intercooler) and noticed oil. Another $1000 or so, this could be a monster. I have dynosheets if needed.
Truck weighs 4200 lbs.
